Sometimes we photographers just get lucky!
I was headed to the store with Setsuko when she commented on the pretty clouds. Pretty indeed!
I was very happy to be able to capture those cloud formations!
Speaking of happy, I was also happy to take the other pictures when we were waiting to pick up our exchange student. Very cute figures and some nice buildings!
I am now certified via TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) to teach that subject. Yeah!
If I do not get much substitute teaching work this year, I will be looking to build my tutoring and TEFL teaching business. Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested in my services.
My web site is tutorinspiration.com
The other good news is that I am not going to need cardiac ablation surgery at this time. That is surgery to prevent bouts of atrial fibrillation, a condition that includes excessive and irregular heart beats. I have had 14 occurrences over the last 27 years. I had such a bout a month ago, but have been fine ever since. I have quite the routine that I am following!
1) Early morning workouts to avoid the heat and humidity
2) A banana (potassium) before I exercise
3) A cup of coconut water before I exercise (electrolytes)
4) 3 tablespoons of salted mixed nuts before I exercise (sodium)
5) 2 multi-vitamins before I exercise
6) Monitor my heart rate with my Apple watch while exercising
7) Drink one bottle of sports drink while exercising (electrolytes)
8) Use air conditioning when the heat gets above 90 degrees (I would rather use fans but heat has been a trigger for my atrial fibrillation)
Wow, no one said it was going to be easy!
I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer!
All the best,
Bob Reed

私は今、TEFL(外国語としての英語教授法)の資格を取得して、その科目を教えています。

Hi Bob! Congrats on finishing your TEFL certification!! That is so exciting. I recall working with the TEFL teachers at the language institute where I worked at Lewis & Clark and thought they had such a fabulous job. Enjoy! Also great news about your health and no need for the procedure! Woohoo!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much! I also worked at Lewis and Clark and dated the director of the Language Institute at that school? Whom is this message from? You can respond here or send an email to reedrobert77@gmail.com Thanks!
