What a treat!

 Speaking of treats, I have discovered what is probably the most powerful teaching tool I have ever used.

Welcome to the world of Twee!

I recently discovered a wonderful English language teaching tool that is a component of the TOEFL test.  The student is given a sentence with the word order changed. The student needs to put those words into the correct order.

This is a fabulous tool for helping students learn sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary. I then contacted Perplexity, my AI source, and asked where I could find a web site that offers this tool. And so began my love affair with Twee!

Twee is an unbelievable AI-driven site that offers close to 50 tools that can be used to build all the key English language skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and grammar. 

Some of the highlights are as follows:

1) The scrambled word tool I mentioned earlier.

2) The ability to easily include a video in the lesson.

3) The ability to produce a transcript of the video.

4) A variety of vocabulary tools that reinforce the learning of a set of words. 

5) A variety of "Cloze" exercises that ask the student to put the correct word or phrase in the gap. 

6) It is easy to add videos, images, and text to the lesson.  

In short, I am now using this site for 80% of my English language lessons. 

As I said in an email to the company, part of the power of this site is due to the simplicity and user-friendly nature of the process for setting up a lesson. It is very intuitive and so easy! 

It takes me about 35 minutes to plan a lesson that will last for three private one on one tutoring sessions.  

As I said to a friend recently, there has never been a better time to be a teacher!

The world of knowledge and information is just a few clicks away!

主な機能は以下の通りです。

1) 先ほどご紹介した単語並べ替えツール。

2) レッスンに動画を簡単に挿入できる機能。

3) 動画の文字起こし機能。

4) 特定の単語セットの学習を強化する様々な語彙ツール。

5) 空欄に適切な単語やフレーズを入れる「クローズ」問題。

6) レッスンに動画、画像、テキストを簡単に追加できる機能。

要するに、私は現在、英語レッスンの80%でこのサイトを利用しています。

会社に送ったメールにも書きましたが、このサイトの強みの一つは、レッスン設定のプロセスが非常にシンプルで使いやすい点にあります。本当に直感的で、とても簡単です！
